The Snowman Trek in Bhutan is often considered one of the most challenging treks in the world. This epic journey takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Bhutan Himalayas, covering approximately 300 kilometres with a total elevation gain of 16,000 metres. The trek starts in Paro and takes you through the remote and high-altitude regions of Haa, Laya and Lunana. Along the way you'll cross 11 mountain passes above 4,500 metres, with five of them exceeding 5,000 metres.
The trek offers breathtaking views of some of Bhutan's highest peaks, including Mt. Gangkhar Puensum and Mt. Jomolhari, and the chance to experience pristine wilderness, ancient monasteries and the elusive snow leopard.
