Wear the national dress, shoot a bamboo bow, cook with a farming family — the everyday Bhutan that visitors rarely get close to.
Bhutan is a Vajrayana Buddhist kingdom, and it shows in how people live. Sit with a monk, meditate in a cliffside temple, or simply slow down.
More than 70% of the country is under forest cover and the rivers run straight off the Himalaya. Walk it, ride it, paddle it, photograph it.
Masked cham dances in a dzong courtyard, or your own vows blessed in a Bhutanese temple.

Ideal Travel Creations is a local Bhutanese tour operator based in Thimphu, founded in 2012 by Bikee and Trishna — a husband-and-wife team dedicated to curating extraordinary journeys through every corner of the Kingdom.
We craft personalised Bhutan itineraries that cater to the unique preferences and interests of every traveller. For us travel is not just about destinations — it is about creating lasting memories and connections, and the kind of friendships that send guests home already planning a return.
Our mission is to inspire wanderlust and facilitate meaningful exploration by offering tailor-made Bhutan travel experiences that exceed expectations. We strive to be the bridge between travellers and one of the world's most captivating destinations — while upholding the highest standards of customer service and ethical practice.

Bikee has worked in Bhutan's tourism industry since 2006. After his studies he began his career with several Bhutanese travel companies, travelling extensively across the country and learning every corner of it. He specialises in organising creative, unique tours, treks and holidays in Bhutan, and is the key person behind Ideal Travel Creations. He is known for his creativity and is also passionate about music.
Trishna Rasaily comes from an educational background. She worked in schools in Bhutan and India before the founding of Ideal Travel Creations — including nine years as the head of a department — and brings a strong sense of administration, public relations and care to the company. She also leads the agency's programme of student educational tours and women's travel in Bhutan, drawing on her experience guiding many such groups personally.

“It was a wonderful experience visiting Bhutan with Ideal travel Creations. All Thanks to Ideal Travel Creations for such an awesome hospitality and management and lastly to our guide Jigme Thinley. We enjoyed your company and presence. Hope to visit again.”
“Dorji has excellent religious knowledge and the driving ability was exemplary. Dorji was terrific for our physical concerns, always helping, guiding. Sangay's explanations, experience, knowledge were interesting and wonderful — a bonus in addition to our guide was the complimentary upgrade to Le Meridien, Paro.”
“Thank you for giving my daughter and myself the opportunity to experience your lovely country of Bhutan! We certainly enjoyed ourselves and learned about Bhutan. The purses will be a treasure and memories of Bhutan will stay with us! Dorji and Pema were wonderful — what a good driver Pema was, and Dorji's knowledge was full of information and history. Thanks to you and your staff for making our trip to Bhutan memorable. Your country is beautiful and your hospitality was so appreciated.”
