Journey through Bhutan's Heartland, Where Culture and Nature Unite.
The Nabji Korphu Community Trek is a unique cultural and nature trekking experience in Bhutan. This trek, typically lasting six days, offers an immersive journey through the picturesque landscapes of central Bhutan, passing through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages.
Starting from the village of Nimshong, the trek takes you to Nabji, which means “promised land” in Dzongkha. Here, you’ll visit the Nabji Lhakhang, a significant Buddhist temple. The trek continues to Korphu, where you’ll experience the vibrant local culture, traditional farming practices, and warm hospitality of the Monpa community.
One of the highlights of the trek is the opportunity to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the region, including the golden langur, a rare primate species native to Bhutan. The trek is relatively moderate in difficulty, making it accessible to most trekkers while offering a rich blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
